There’s multiple ways to key out color in DaVinci Resolve, This can be achieved on the edit color and fusion pages but today we’re going to focus just on the keying out on the edit page.
Green Screen Keyer
Once we have the footage on our timeline we will go up to effects > open effects > and search for 3D keyer. we will drop this effect on to our clip in the timeline.

Before we can start using the keyer we need to turn on the open effect overlay

Next drag in the green area you would like to key out. I like to do long strokes if you can.

Once we have the green keyed out you might notice that there is going to be a bit of spill. ( spell is the green color cast on the edge of the object)
This can be fixed with despill and matte finesse settings.
