Motion Typeface Manager

Install Motion Typeface Manager

  1. Make sure you have Motion Typeface Manager Core installed first as we will be copying Motion Typeface Manager into the folders from Core.

  2. Lets go to the Motion Typeface folder. #### macOS

    • All users:
      /Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/Fusion/Scripts/Comp
    • Specific user:
      /Users/<UserName>/Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/Fusion/Scripts/Comp

    Windows

    • All users:
      %PROGRAMDATA%\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Fusion\Scripts\Comp
    • Specific user:
      %APPDATA%\Roaming\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Support\Fusion\Scripts\Comp
  3. Copy the Motion Typeface Manager file into Motion Typeface Folder

Motion Typeface Manager is now installed

  1. Start Motion Typeface Manager while on the Fusion page by clicking on Workspace > Scripts > Motion Typeface > Motion Typeface Manager

Note

You will also need to have a typeface installed and activated to fully use Motion Typeface Manager

How to use Motion Typeface Manager

  1. Start Motion Typeface Manager by going to the top menue bar and clicking

    Workspace > Scripts > Motion Typeface > Motion Typeface Manager

Tip

You much be on the Fusion page to start Motion Typeface Manager

  1. In the Enter text box type in the glyphs you would like.

  2. Pick a typeface that's installed and activated in the Select typeface:

  3. Click Write

Motion Typeface Manager should now create a main controller node and the glyph nodes you typed. The Motion Typeface Manager will also connect all of the input to the main controller.
